How much paint should I buy?
A very simple formula to calculate the amount of paint needed to paint a particular environment: it should measure the square footage to paint, divide it by the performance of paint per meter square per liter, multiply by the number of hands to paint.
Tips for painting the walls
• Do not speed the drying time with fans or heat, the temperature differences harm the finish. • Start
always paint the ceiling and the most luminous.
• It is preferable to apply two or three coats of paint in thin layers than one thick.
• If there is streaking or brush marks on the surface, it may be because too little was loaded ball, or that the painting was reviewed when it was about dry.
• If the wall is not well prepared the paint will not adhere. The painting is not set in plaster surfaces unfinished or moisture.
• To close the paint can, without distorting the lid, place over it a wooden stick and hit with a hammer, turning the rod to fully close
Wall Preparation:
Before painting began to prepare the surface, covering nail holes, cracks or dents. Apply caulking on plastic spatula wetted area previously abused. Allow to dry thoroughly and sand with fine sandpaper until a smooth surface. Remove dust, and roll pass wall sealant following the instructions of the product.
